Job Requirements
- Must have 2 years ICU experience
- Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT)
- State certified Respiratory Therapy Technician
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment
- Associate degree or higher in respiratory therapy or related field
- Availability to work 11:00 am to 11:00 pm shifts
Job Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT)
- State Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician
- Associate degree, bachelors degree, masters degree, or vocational school graduate
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 90 days
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
Job Duties
- Operate and set up mechanical ventilators and therapeutic gas administration devices
- Provide emergency care including artificial ventilation and assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Collect and analyze arterial blood gases and provide appropriate interventions
- Follow physician orders for treatment and evaluate therapy requirements
- Monitor patient response to therapy through vital signs, pulse oximetry, and other assessments
- Consult with healthcare professionals to manage patient care plans
- Administer clinical respiratory care modalities as per department protocols
