We are currently seeking a Resort Guest Room Attendant to join the housekeeping department at the Durango resort. This is a key position that helps maintain the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that guests expect during their stay. As a Resort Guest Room Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring that every guest experience is seamless and exceptional from the moment they enter their room. You will be responsible for cleaning and keeping the guest rooms neat following the daily assignments and maintaining the housekeeping carts in an orderly manner. This role requires the ability to manage time well, work efficiently under pressure, and use a friendly, personable approach to hospitality.

Beyond the physical cleaning tasks, you will be an ambassador of the resort's friendly and luxurious brand, enhancing guest satisfaction by delivering service with a personal touch. The Resort Guest Room Attendant should embody values such as kindness, inclusivity, forward-thinking, and self-awareness. Job Requirements

  • Ability to reach a height of 6 feet
  • ability to transport, push, pull and maneuver a cart weighing up to 60 lbs
  • ability to climb, bend, reach, walk, and stand for the duration of shift
  • ability to tolerate chemicals, cleansers and solvents
  • must be able to obtain all necessary work cards
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • ability to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing
  • knowledge of cleaning products and proper handling
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • good physical condition to meet the demands of the role

Job Duties

  • Ensuring that guest rooms are clean and neat
  • completing daily assignment of guest rooms within allotted time and perform general cleaning as assigned
