We are seeking a creative, dynamic Executive Chef passionate about culinary excellence to lead our culinary operations at Homestead. This is a unique opportunity to work in an upscale, picturesque mountain resort setting and lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences. The Executive Chef will be responsible for culinary innovation, menu development, and kitchen management. Emphasizing seasonal menus that highlight local ingredients, the successful candidate will inspire the culinary team to deliver outstanding food quality, presentation, and service standards. This role requires a leader who sets high kitchen standards by example and who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The Executive Chef will work closely with resort management and other departments to ensure smooth operations, maintain financial goals, and uphold sanitation standards. The position requires the ability to work extended hours and handle physically demanding kitchen tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy items. Job Requirements

  • 4 plus years kitchen management experience
  • 5 plus years cooking experience
  • college degree or certification in culinary field or hospitality field preferred
  • good working knowledge of sanitation standards
  • ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them
  • ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members
  • proven ability to lead and train a diverse workforce
  • willingness to set a high kitchen standard by example
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • ability to work extended hours in humid or extreme temperatures
