The iconic Hotel del Coronado, one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world, is seeking a Resort Concierge Seasonal to join its team. Following a remarkable $400 million renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever. Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
- Minimum of 1 year high-level customer service or concierge experience
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service
- At least 1 year of high-level customer service or concierge experience
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Preferred 2 years in customer service or concierge roles
- Preferred 1 year of experience in hotels
Job Duties
- Provide information, recommendations and booking services for a variety of guest inquiries, including directions, hours of outlet operation, hotel services, transportation and travel arrangements, tour and event tickets, restaurant reservations, and medical care
- Process and deliver messages for guests
- Retrieve mail, small packages and facsimiles for guests as requested
- Arrange and confirm recreational, business and dining activities both inside and outside the hotel for guests
- Respond to special requests for services including dentists, doctors, child care, florists, etc.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner whether in person, via email, Kipsu or over the phone
- Promote company marketing programs and distribute printed materials as needed
