Familylinks is currently seeking passionate and driven individuals to join their team in the role of Residential Youth Care Worker Professional. This position offers flexible employment options including full-time, part-time, and casual schedules, with shifts available from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., as well as weekend block shifts.

As a Residential Youth Care Worker Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting youth and adolescents by providing a safe, nurturing environment that fosters their development and independence. The role involves assisting with daily activities such as meal preparation and medication administration when necessary. Additionally, you will provide transportation to community events and help youths achieve individualized goals designed to promote healthy lifestyles and personal growth. This role is ideal for individuals with backgrounds as CNAs, PCTs, Home Health Aides, caregivers, or those who have experience working with youth. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required and/or directed
  • Excellent computer skills and strong communication skills
  • Support the organization’s mission along with sensitivity to cultural and workplace diversity
  • Ability to handle confidential information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience as a CNA, PCT, Home Health Aide, Caregiver, or working with youth is preferred
  • Excellent computer skills and strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information and comply with HIPAA guidelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to promote positive relationships with youth
  • Commitment to support cultural sensitivity and workplace inclusivity

Job Duties

  • Provide required levels of supervision and security for residents at all times
  • Promote healthy, professional, and mentoring relationships with residents
  • Participate in all service components, including referral, intake, assessment, service planning and delivery, and discharge
  • Provide timely and accurate written and verbal documentation of all program operations and service components
  • Supervise and document the administration of medication
  • Provide transportation for residents to ensure their safety and attendance for appointments
  • Attend all meetings, supervisions, and trainings as required
