Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years or older
  • prior experience in maintenance janitorial or porter roles preferred
  • ability to lift bend kneel climb and stand for extended periods
  • must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • ability to use basic hand and power tools safely
  • valid California driver's license may be required if travel between properties is necessary

Job Duties

  • perform light maintenance tasks such as interior painting of walls trims and doors
  • carry out minor plumbing repairs including unclogging drains and replacing cartridges
  • complete minor electrical tasks like changing light bulbs and installing switch plates
  • execute basic carpentry work including drywall patching and tightening fixtures
  • thoroughly clean and sanitize apartments between residents by mopping sweeping vacuuming and dusting all areas
  • clean kitchens bathrooms appliances and windows
  • remove all debris trash and remaining items
  • lift and move materials and equipment up to 50 lbs
  • follow property turnover checklist to meet move-in quality standards
  • safely use tools ladders and cleaning supplies per safety protocols
  • report supply needs or larger maintenance issues to supervisors
  • maintain a professional demeanor and follow company procedures at all times
