We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Residential Cleaner/Porter to join our roving support team. This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $20.00 per hour and features a consistent schedule with shifts from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. As a member of our roving team, you will travel between multiple residential properties throughout Orange County and Long Beach, providing essential janitorial services and property maintenance support. The role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and upkeep that Pan American Properties is known for.
The Residential Cleaner/Porter will be responsible for a wide range of cleaning duties, from sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to dusting, polishing furniture, and disinfecting common areas such as restrooms and kitchens. The successful candidate will also help maintain outdoor areas, remove trash and recycling, restock supplies, and assist with turnover support for vacant units. Additionally, this position includes specialized tasks such as deep cleaning carpets, upholstery, and drapery, as well as stripping, waxing, and buffing floors using floor care machines. The role occasionally involves setting up and breaking down rooms for meetings or events within the properties.
Safety is a core priority, and the Residential Cleaner/Porter must comply with all safety procedures when handling cleaning supplies and equipment. Reporting any safety hazards, maintenance needs, or damages to the site supervisor is an essential part of the job. Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining cleaning supply inventory and ensuring that restocking is promptly communicated to the team.
Candidates must exhibit knowledge of janitorial practices, cleaning chemicals, sanitation protocols, and proper equipment use. Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently across multiple locations are key for success in this role. Basic verbal communication and customer service skills are required as you may interact with residents and team members regularly. The physical demands of the role include standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Comfort working both indoors and outdoors and managing time effectively to prioritize tasks are also critical.

Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and support maintenance team at assigned properties
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
