Management & Training Corporation (MTC) proudly operates the Los Angeles Job Corps Center located in Los Angeles, CA. The role centers around ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and proper conduct of students residing on residential floors within the Los Angeles Job Corps Center. The employee will be responsible for monitoring students to ensure compliance with the center's rules and regulations. They will foster a positive atmosphere conducive to character development, promoting favorable behavior patterns among the youth. This position involves being an active participant in student activities and facilitating timely assistance in cases of injury, illness, emotional distress, or traumatic experiences. The incumbent is also responsible for documenting student activity and incidents comprehensively. The job requires patrolling and monitoring dormitories, assisting in recreational activities both on and off the center, directing and supporting students in the upkeep and cleanliness of dormitory areas, and promoting excellent customer service throughout the facility. Participation in the student employability program and associated activities is also expected. This role combines vigilance, compassion, and proactive engagement in youth development, making it ideal for candidates committed to community service and youth empowerment.
