The role available is that of a Residential Student Monitor at the Centennial Job Corps Center. This full-time position offers a wage of $19.25 per hour and includes the second shift schedule from 3 PM to 12 AM, with varied days and 8-hour shifts. Part-time positions are also available, though they come with different benefits. The primary responsibility of the Residential Student Monitor is to oversee students living on residential floors, ensuring compliance with the center's rules and regulations. This role is vital in creating a safe and supportive environment for the students. The monitor fosters an atmosphere that encourages character development and positive behavior patterns while providing prompt assistance in cases of injury, illness, emotional distress, or traumatic experiences. Accurate documentation of student activities and incidents is essential to maintain a safe and well-managed residential setting.

In this position, your duties will include patrolling and monitoring dormitories to ensure safety and proper behavior, assisting with recreational activities both on and off the center, directing students and helping with dormitory cleanup and maintenance, promoting positive customer service throughout the facility, and participating in student employability programs and activities.
