The role of Resident Services Specialist at BH is a vital entry-level position that plays a key part in enhancing the resident experience and supporting the property management team. Reporting directly to the Community Manager, this full-time, on-site position involves handling resident inquiries, managing concierge services, greeting and directing future residents and guests, and providing assistance to the office team as needed. The Resident Services Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for resident requests and concerns, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly and professionally. This role requires someone who is not only service-oriented but also meticulous in maintaining accurate records and managing various administrative duties.
In this role, the Resident Services Specialist will utilize their knowledge of Fair Housing guidelines, leasing documents, and company policies to provide effective customer service and comply with housing program requirements. Key responsibilities include planning and supporting special functions and resident activities, communicating with residents about ongoing requests, maintaining resident records, and managing communication channels such as phone and email. The individual will also assist with renewal programs and may participate in an on-call rotation to meet business needs. Strong written and verbal communication skills, intermediate proficiency with computer technology including MS Office, and previous customer service experience are highly beneficial for success in this role.

- previous experience in customer service preferred
- strong communication skills

- proficiency in MS Office Suite
- ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to work occasional overtime and participate in on-call rotation
Job Qualifications

- strong written and verbal communication skills
- intermediate computer technology skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite
- previous experience in a customer-facing or customer service role is a plus
Job Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resident requests and concerns
- provides effective customer service to all current residents and property staff by utilizing in-depth knowledge of the property and its functions
- assist with planning and implementation of special functions and resident activities
- communicate with residents regarding needs and follow up on completed service requests
- maintain accurate resident records including contact information and correspondence
- perform general office administrative duties including answering phones, emails, written correspondence, and managing incoming mail
- provide information and customer service to residents and applicants for housing program participation and compliance
- assist Renewal Specialist with renewal program where applicable
- perform other duties as assigned
