Job Description
BH is a leading property management company renowned for its vibrant culture and dedication to excellence in the multifamily housing industry. With a commitment to fostering a collaborative, forward-thinking environment, BH continues to set the standard by empowering its team members to achieve their best while maintaining a strong sense of community and connection. The company values integrity, accountability, and a positive approach to challenges, emphasizing the importance of how work is done as much as what is accomplished. BH's inclusive workplace promotes diversity and encourages every employee to contribute to creating a supportive environment where residents and staff alike feel valued and respected.
The Resident Services Specialist plays a pivotal role within BH’s property management team. Reporting directly to the Community Manager, this full-time, entry-level position is based on-site and involves a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing resident satisfaction and ensuring smooth property operations. The individual in this role acts as a frontline representative for BH, serving as the primary point of contact for resident inquiries, providing concierge services, and managing visitor interactions with professionalism and warmth. The Resident Services Specialist is tasked with handling resident requests efficiently, maintaining detailed records, and supporting the office team with administrative duties such as answering phones, managing emails, and processing correspondence.
In addition to everyday service duties, this position supports the planning and execution of resident activities and special events, contributing to a lively and engaging community atmosphere. The role demands a strong understanding of Fair Housing guidelines, policies, procedures, and leasing documentation, alongside excellent communication skills and proficiency in computer technology, particularly MS Office Suite. Candidates with previous customer service experience are highly preferred, though the position welcomes those at an entry level with a High School diploma or GED.
This role requires flexibility, as the work schedule from Monday to Friday may vary, including occasional overtime and participation in an on-call rotation to meet business needs. BH offers its employees a supportive environment where individuals can grow professionally while making a positive impact on residents’ daily lives. Joining BH means becoming part of a dynamic team that values high standards, inclusivity, and personal accountability, helping to shape not just outstanding properties but thriving communities.
