The Resident Services Manager plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the residential community. As a key liaison among residents, guarantors, vendors, and the Community Manager, this role involves ensuring smooth communication and effective service. The Resident Services Manager is responsible for delivering exemplary customer service, maintaining tenant satisfaction, and facilitating community relations to promote retention and positive feedback from residents. This role requires the individual to professionally manage all aspects related to resident interactions including answering phones, handling lease applications, participating in community events, and maintaining the physical appearance of the property. Utilizing company-specific leasing procedures, this position demands a blend of administrative acuity and customer engagement expertise. The role also involves oversight of renewal campaigns and meticulous record-keeping in line with company policies, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of customer service or related experience in resident and community relations preferred
- available to work evenings and weekends
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

- strong computer skills
- physical ability to perform job duties including standing, walking, climbing, stooping, squatting, and lifting up to 20 pounds

Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of customer service or related experience in an environment involving resident and community relations preferred
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- excellent verbal, written and computer skills
- strong database management skills preferred

Job Duties
- demonstrate a positive, professional, and client-oriented attitude with team members, residents, clients and the public
- answer incoming phone calls professionally and handle accordingly
- serve as liaison for Community Manager with residents, guarantors, and property vendors
- ensure tenants are provided a clean, safe, and well-maintained community
- work with residents to ensure positive tenant and community relations
- utilize Cardinal leasing expectations and procedures to greet prospective clients, qualify, determine needs and preferences, present the property and apartment homes, utilize feature/benefit selling, close the sale and follow-up
- complete lease applications and participate in verification of applications
- oversee execution of renewal campaigns and update renewal progress reports
- assist the Leasing and Marketing Team Lead in planning and executing resident events
- maintain accurate client records and update reports
- maintain and perform upkeep of the tour route for curb appeal
- assist residents with daily tasks as part of the concierge program
- participate in Cardinal U training as required
