Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Some college credits preferred
- Must obtain real estate leasing agent license for Illinois within 120 days
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to pass fair housing exam
- At least two years relevant experience
- Experience in customer service dispute resolution
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of property management software
- Punctuality and attendance
- Physical ability for building inspections
- Ability to climb stairs

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Some college credits desired
- Must hold or obtain a real estate leasing agent license for Illinois within 120 days
- Excellent customer service experience
- Ability to pass fair housing exam
- Minimum two years of relevant experience
- Minimum two years experience in receiving and resolving customer service concerns or disputes
- Hospitality experience is a plus
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of operations software such as Outlook, Internet software, Office 365 including Excel and Word
- Ability to meet high attendance and punctuality standards
- Physical ability to inspect buildings including garages and roofs
- Ability to climb stairs for inspections and emergency procedures
- Ability to withstand long working hours
- Ability to detect emergency alarms visually and auditorily
- Ability to use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses
- Availability to work weekends and overtime as required
Job Duties
- Handle and resolve customer complaints
- Respond within 24 hours to residents’ requests via telephone, email, or postal mail
- Follow up with residents within 24-hours to ensure inquiries or complaints are resolved satisfactorily
- Prepare a weekly summary report detailing each resident contact and plan to increase resident satisfaction
- Greet prospects, guests, and visitors as they arrive at the community
- Provide a personalized experience with emphasis on care and convenience for residents
- Engage with residents to foster positive relationships and confirm expectations are fulfilled
- Respond to resident complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Act as the communication center providing community happenings via the computer portal and postings
- Plan, promote and deliver resident events and activities
- Identify, communicate, and implement opportunities to improve resident experience and service
- Complete application approval checklist in coordination with leasing team
- Track submitted applications for required approvals and documentation
- Support Hines culture and encourage an empowering environment
- Handle overflow scheduled tours by phone and email in a digital consultation approach
- Follow up on active prospects including calls and emails
- Assist maintenance team with coordination of preventative maintenance schedules and notifications
- Supervise contract obligations such as janitorial, window washing, elevator maintenance, security, and valet
- Carry out other duties as assigned by Community Manager
