The role of the Lifestyle Ambassador at Sentral is pivotal in delivering an exceptional residential experience. This position requires a people-first mindset, a can-do attitude, and a growth orientation. As a key point of contact within the community, the Lifestyle Ambassador is responsible for driving hospitality across all amenity spaces, managing resident programming, and providing personalized service that enhances resident satisfaction and retention. This position is hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented, demanding strong ownership and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Located in Santa Monica, CA, the Lifestyle Ambassador position involves in-person responsibilities, including greeting residents and visitors, coordinating events, managing amenity reservations, and supporting the overall vibrancy of the community. Weekend availability is mandatory, reflecting the role's focus on maintaining a lively, welcoming environment at all times.
This job demands proficiency in customer service, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years food and beverage experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Capability to transport equipment up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work both indoor and outdoor environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years food and beverage experience
- Toast, Square, Micros POS experience a plus
- Food handling certificate a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Superior interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Provide the highest level of customer service to anyone who enters the community
- Greet all residents and visitors to provide directions and assistance
- Execute resident check-ins efficiently and courteously
- Articulate guest policies and provide liability waivers for first-time guests
- Remain visible, accessible, and available to residents and guests to promptly resolve any inquiries
- Drive resident satisfaction and retention within the community by delivering the highest level of hospitality
- Coordinate onsite events and activities, and identify avenues to increase resident participation
- Oversee and process amenity space reservations and cabana towel services
- Spearhead scheduling of all Lifestyle program activations initiatives
- Coordinate scheduling of 3rd party services
- Assist with food and beverage handling
- Perform routine walk-throughs of the facility to ensure safe and appropriate operation of equipment
- Support other inter-department or cross-department projects as needed
- Perform other related duties and assignments as needed and assigned
