Job Description

Trillium Woods is a distinguished Life Plan Community situated on 46 picturesque acres in Plymouth, Minnesota, offering a serene and supportive environment tailored to senior residents. Renowned for its commitment to compassionate care and vibrant living, Trillium Woods combines premier amenities with a compassionate community spirit to ensure a high quality of life for all residents. As a hospitality-focused organization, Trillium Woods values creating welcoming, engaging experiences for residents, families, and visitors alike, making it a sought-after destination for those seeking exceptional senior living options.

We are currently recruiting a full-time Concierge to join our dedicated team. This role is integral in providing an inviting and professional first point of contact for residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and service providers who visit our community. The Concierge position is based onsite and operates Monday through Friday during day shifts, with competitive pay starting at $23 per hour.

The Concierge’s responsibilities focus on delivering outstanding hospitality and customer service. This position requires greeting, directing, and assisting residents, associates, visitors, and guests both in person and via telephone communication. Flexibility is a key attribute, as the Concierge will also provide backup support at the receptionist desk as needed. Daily tasks encompass a variety of general office duties such as distributing communications, handling incoming mail, copying and filing documents, preparing outgoing mail, and creating or updating community-related documents, flyers, announcements, and videos.

Additionally, the Concierge plays a vital role in supporting residents with technology. This includes troubleshooting phones, assisting with computer setups, resolving printing issues, and helping with personal devices and applications such as email, social media, smartphones, and tablets. Ensuring residents remain connected and comfortable with their technology enhances their overall satisfaction and engagement within the community.

The role also involves managing delivery packages by accepting them, logging their receipt, and notifying the respective residents. Another key duty is preparing maintenance work orders requested by residents and staff promptly to maintain the community’s smooth daily operation. The Concierge will also assist the Director of Administrative Services with various projects and assignments, contributing to the efficient administration of community services.

Problem-solving abilities are crucial in this role. The Concierge must navigate and de-escalate challenging situations with residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring all parties feel valued and respected while maintaining the community’s high standards. This combination of hospitality, organizational skills, and compassion makes the Concierge a vital member of the Trillium Woods team.

This position is ideal for a person with previous experience in customer-facing roles, especially within a senior living community. Candidates who demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, and a genuine passion for senior care and engagement will thrive in this environment. Joining Trillium Woods not only means a fulfilling career helping seniors but also becoming part of a community dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives.
