Job Description
Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) is a respected nonprofit, faith-based organization that has been a beacon of care and support for older adults since its establishment in 1955. Headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, PHS operates over 60 senior living communities across Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin, and serves more than 26,000 older adults annually. The organization is renowned as an innovative leader in the senior housing and services industry, with a mission centered on promoting independence, purposeful living, and overall well-being in the older adult community. The organization also co-owns Genevive, the largest geriatric primary care practice in Minnesota, providing comprehensive care services to over 15,000 older adults. At its core, PHS values its employees deeply, fostering a supportive and empowering work environment where team members are encouraged to grow professionally and personally. Approximately 80 percent of leadership roles within PHS are filled by internal team members, which demonstrates its commitment to career development and employee growth. PHS's identity is grounded in Christian ministry values, emphasizing service, love, and grace in all its interactions and operations.
Kirkland Crossings, a vibrant Christian senior living community located in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, is part of the PHS family and embodies the organization’s mission with a dynamic and supportive environment. Situated on a sprawling 12-acre campus near Pewaukee Lake, Kirkland Crossings offers a variety of living options including independent senior apartments, assisted living, and memory care facilities. The community also boasts a town center complete with amenities such as a bistro, library, club room, salon, and wellness center, designed to enrich the lives of residents and foster an engaging atmosphere.
Kirkland Crossings is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers for various roles including CBRF, CNA, Nursing Assistant, Resident Assistant, and Home Health Aide (HHA). These positions are offered on a part-time or full-time basis with shifts primarily during the day, from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, including weekend opportunities. The hourly wage ranges from $19.10 to $20.91 based on experience and qualifications. As a caregiver at Kirkland Crossings, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by providing high-quality personal care and supporting their individually designed living choices. The role requires a strong work ethic, integrity, humility, and a service-oriented attitude, alongside excellent communication skills and a positive outlook.
Joining Kirkland Crossings means becoming part of a close-knit, community-based team dedicated to making a genuine difference through compassionate care. The team environment is supportive and collaborative, offering opportunities for career advancement within PHS. The organization’s Christian ministry foundation enriches the work experience with a meaningful mission to honor God by enriching the lives and touching the hearts of older adults. This role is ideal for individuals eager to make an impact in the lives of seniors while working in a welcoming, faith-driven work culture with robust benefits and resources such as health and dental insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and educational assistance programs. If you are driven by purpose and passionate about caregiving, Kirkland Crossings invites you to apply and join a community where your contributions truly matter.
