Job Description

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to work part-time or full-time day shifts including weekends
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Pass background checks and health screenings
  • Demonstrate strong work ethic and reliability
  • Uphold integrity and honesty
  • Maintain a positive attitude and good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Caregiving experience helpful but not required for assisted living
  • Demonstrated competencies in person-directed care and elder/resident-directed practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS mission and values
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills

Job Duties

  • Provide high quality personal care to residents
  • Support residents in personalized living choices
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and best practices
  • Communicate effectively with residents and team members
  • Assist in creating a safe and supportive environment
  • Collaborate with team to meet resident needs
