Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to perform shift work including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team member
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Unlimited bending and stooping capacity
  • Sighted with ability to read small print and handwriting
  • Able to hear and speak to communicate over the telephone and in person
  • Cognitive ability to reason and solve complex problems
  • Possess fine motor skills for writing reports and completing resident cares

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED
  • Possesses strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Dresses and behaves in a professional manner, follows dress code
  • Able to perform shift work including weekends and holidays
  • Able to work autonomously and as a team member

Job Duties

  • Provide residents with personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
  • Assist residents with carrying out physical, spiritual and behavioral care plans
  • Ensure proper documentation and record keeping is maintained
  • Complete housekeeping, dietary and day programming tasks as needed to meet resident needs
  • Interact professionally with other staff, visitors and family members
  • Comply with company policies, standards and licensing rules
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the Lead Aide or Home Supervisor
