Job Description
The Ritz-Carlton is a globally renowned luxury hospitality company recognized for setting the highest standards in service and guest experience within the hotel industry. As part of Marriott International, one of the world’s leading diversified hospitality companies, The Ritz-Carlton operates over 100 award-winning properties worldwide. The brand is synonymous with exceptional quality, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for its guests. Known for its distinguished service excellence, The Ritz-Carlton offers a luxurious environment where employees, often referred to as Ladies and Gentlemen, collaborate to ensure every guest receives unparalleled care and hospitality. The company strongly values inclusivity, diversity, and equal opportunity, fostering a workplace where associates from varied cultural backgrounds can thrive and contribute uniquely to its success.
This role, positioned within The Ritz-Carlton’s residential services, is essential in maintaining the highest levels of safety, security, and hospitality to Residence owners. The individual in this role is responsible for scheduling, supervising, and reinforcing job-specific protocols in line with The Ritz-Carlton’s Standard Operating Procedure Manual. The position centers around responding to Residence owners’ requests ranging from special arrangements such as transportation, reservations, and dry cleaning, to providing detailed information about vendors, amenities, and local events to enhance their living experience. A pivotal aspect of this role is to handle calls, messages, and requests efficiently, coordinating with various departments—including Bellperson, Valet, Engineering, and Housekeeping—to promptly resolve issues or fulfill special requests.
Additionally, the role requires assisting with owners’ reservation services, managing elevator scheduling for move-in and move-out logistics, and providing Bell and Valet services for vehicle handling. Acting as a Lobby Ambassador, this person upholds The Ritz-Carlton’s reputation by welcoming and acknowledging Residence owners warmly, addressing their needs proactively, and maintaining professional communication via telephone and written mediums. Leadership and mentorship are also key components; the role involves acting as a departmental role model, ensuring compliance with company standards, coaching team members, and supporting management in employee scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
Safety remains a priority, with responsibilities including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions while completing required safety training and certifications. The position also demands adherence to company policies, maintaining clean and professional personal appearance, safeguarding proprietary information, and protecting company assets. Lastly, the role requires a physical capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds. This position is ideal for individuals with at least one year of related work experience who are committed to delivering the gold standard of service that distinguishes The Ritz-Carlton as a global leader in luxury hospitality.
