The role of a Rooms and Guest Services Ambassador at The Ritz-Carlton Residences North Hills is crucial in maintaining the distinguished reputation of the brand. This full-time, non-management position involves responding promptly and efficiently to requests from Residence owners and their guests, ensuring that every interaction reflects the highest standards of customer service excellence. With an hourly pay range of $23.60 to $26.10, this role offers a competitive compensation package for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest relations.

As a Rooms and Guest Services Ambassador, you will be the frontline representative who manages a variety of tasks including handling visitor inquiries, coordinating special arrangements such as transportation and reservations, and maintaining the security and access control of the property. You will be responsible for announcing all visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel to the Residence owners before granting access, ensuring that only authorized individuals are permitted entry. This role also includes managing communication by answering and documenting all calls, messages, and requests, and liaising with different departments such as Engineering, Bell Services, and Housekeeping to resolve issues swiftly.

In addition, this position involves supporting special reservation services for the owners, coordinating elevator use for move-in and move-out activities, and assisting with valet and bell services for vehicle requests. The Ambassador also performs Lobby Ambassador duties, reviews daily memo books and shift logs to document relevant information, and reports any incidents or unsafe work conditions to management. Adherence to company policies, maintaining a professional appearance, ensuring confidentiality, and protecting company assets are all integral parts of the role.

The ideal candidate must be dedicated to providing a warm welcome and thorough assistance to the Residence owners and their guests, anticipating their needs and responding with genuine appreciation. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential in preparing accurate documents, using professional telephone etiquette, and building positive working relationships among team members. This role demands physical stamina, as duties require standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, as well as handling objects up to 10 pounds.

Job Duties

  • Respond to Residence owners and their guests requests for visitor information, special arrangements, or services
  • announce all visitors, contractors, etc. to Residence owners before allowing access
