The EDITION Residences Tampa Downtown is currently seeking a full-time Concierge team member who embodies the spirit of excellence and genuine guest care. This non-management role is crucial in providing high-level service and support to residence owners and their guests, ensuring their needs and expectations are not only met but exceeded. The job is based in Tampa, Florida, at the EDITION Residences, a location known for its upscale residential accommodations and bespoke services that mirror the luxury hotel experience.

As a Concierge at EDITION Residences Tampa Downtown, you will be responsible for responding promptly and professionally to requests from residents and their visitors. This includes making arrangements for transportation, reservations, dry cleaning, and other special services by liaising with appropriate service providers. You will also serve as an essential security presence by monitoring surveillance systems such as Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV), alarm systems, and fire safety systems, maintaining the safety and security of the property.

Your role extends to acting as the overnight Residences Concierge and Loss Prevention representative when needed, ensuring continuous coverage of the Concierge area and supporting your team during breaks. Handling unique guest requests with care and follow-up to promote satisfaction is a key component of your responsibilities. Answering and processing phone calls, messages, and inquiries efficiently, as well as coordinating with other departments to resolve issues, will be an integral part of your daily routine.

The position requires you to document all incidents accurately, report any unsafe conditions or accidents, and uphold the highest standards of safety compliance. As a representative of The Ritz-Carlton service excellence, you will consistently embody professional appearance and demeanor, protect company assets, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Job Duties

  • Respond to residence owners and guests requests for visitor information, special arrangements, or services
  • Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems
  • Lock property entrances when required
  • Serve as overnight residences concierge and loss prevention representative as needed
  • Maintain coverage of concierge area and assist with concierge team breaks
  • Answer, record, and process all calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
  • Document incidents in logbooks and report to next shift
  • Escort unwelcome persons from property without disrupting operations
  • Report vehicle accidents or thefts and call for assistance using code responses
  • Perform lobby ambassador tasks
  • Report any incidents, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Welcome guests according to company standards
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
