Job Description

The Ritz-Carlton is a globally recognized leader in luxury hospitality, known for its exceptional service standards and commitment to creating memorable and personalized experiences for its guests. Part of the Marriott International portfolio, The Ritz-Carlton operates more than 100 award-winning properties worldwide. The brand's legacy is built on a strong foundation called the "Gold Standards," which encompass the Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values that guide each team member in delivering service excellence. This company culture is centered around empowering associates to be creative, thoughtful, and compassionate, ensuring a unique and luxurious stay for every guest. As a global brand, The Ritz-Carlton values diversity and inclusion, fostering an environment where all associates feel valued and have access to growth opportunities. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees and their families, enhance well-being, and promote career development. Benefits eligibility varies by employment status, position, and location, reinforcing the company’s commitment to tailored associate satisfaction and work-life balance.

The role of the Lobby Ambassador at The Ritz-Carlton is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of this luxury experience. This position focuses on responding promptly and efficiently to Residence owners’ and their guests’ requests, ensuring that all visitor information, special arrangements, or services such as transportation, reservations, and dry cleaning are handled seamlessly. The Lobby Ambassador is responsible for managing access control through announcing visitors, contractors, or service providers to Residence owners before granting entry and accurately documenting this in the key track system. This role also entails facilitating communication, answering and processing calls, messages, and requests, and liaising with other departments including Engineering, Bell Services, and Housekeeping to resolve issues swiftly.

Furthermore, the Lobby Ambassador supports owner reservation services, schedulings elevators for move-ins or move-outs, and orchestrates Bell and Valet services upon owners' requests. The position requires an individual who maintains high standards of professionalism, including proper uniform and appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information, and protection of company assets. The daily tasks involve standing or walking for extended periods and occasionally moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds. The role demands excellent communication skills, a warm and welcoming demeanor, and an ability to anticipate guest needs with genuine appreciation. Adherence to safety policies and reporting any incidents is critical to uphold a safe and secure environment for everyone. This entry-level role does not require supervisory experience but does require at least one year of related work experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. The Lobby Ambassador is a key representative of The Ritz-Carlton’s commitment to quality assurance and luxury hospitality, ensuring that every interaction reflects the brand’s promise of excellence and leaves a lasting impression on Residence owners and their guests.
