Job Requirements
- Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- previous hotel management experience required in housekeeping and/or front office
- ability to read and interpret budgets and financial statements
- must be knowledgeable in Word, Outlook and Excel
- previous experience with hotel PMS and time and attendance systems
- preference given to candidates with branded hotel experience (i.e. IHG, Marriott, Hilton)
- must be willing to work a varied schedule that includes: days, nights, weekends and holidays
- physical requirements of the position include: standing and/or walking for extended periods of time
- bending, stooping, and reaching
- pushing and pulling up to 100 lbs
- and lifting up to 75 lbs

Job Duties
- Interviews, hires, trains and provides leadership to all associates
- conducts performance appraisals and provides feedback to the associates
- ensures all hotel staff, including new hires, know all components/features of our brand service standards and are trained to meet service standards
- develops added value customer service programs
- empowers hotel staff to deliver guest service by encouraging and rewarding responsive guest assistance
- analyzes financial and operation information on an ongoing basis to adjust business plans, labor requirements and operating costs
- meets or exceeds budgeted profit and margin for hotel
- ensures hotel staff is trained in financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories and receivables, and that these procedures are regularly followed
- produces accurate and timely financial reports
- maintains guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel
- personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service by responding to guest needs
- assist team leaders in meeting and exceeding brand service and quality goals
- ensure that all managers are trained for their positions to maximize service, production and efficiency
- clearly describe, assign, and delegate responsibility and authority for the operation of various sub-departments under his/her supervision
- ensures hotel standards contribute to the delivery of consistent guest service
- ensures compliance with all brand standards
- performs other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
