Job Description

Residence Inn Indianapolis Downtown on the Canal is a contemporary hotel located in a prime spot directly on Indianapolis's scenic Central Canal and just a block away from Military Park. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability to work 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm shifts
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience in hotel front desk or hospitality preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Problem-solving skills in customer service scenarios

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide warm welcomes and friendly check-in/check-out services to guests
  • Manage guest reservations and respond promptly to requests and inquiries
  • Use hotel management software to accurately process transactions and bookings
  • Communicate efficiently with guests and team members to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle challenges and resolve guest concerns quickly and effectively
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of guest interactions and financial details
  • Support overall front desk area to keep operations running like clockwork
