As a part of the Marriott brand, the hotel caters to business travelers and families alike, offering spacious pet-friendly apartment-style suites that provide 50 percent more space than the average hotel room. These suites feature full kitchens, flat-screen TVs, and separate living and sleeping areas, creating a comfortable and home-like atmosphere for guests. The hotel also offers a complimentary hot breakfast buffet with healthy options, a 24-hour Market in the lobby, and a unique grocery shopping service to help clients stock their in-suite refrigerators—an excellent convenience for long-term stays. The property boasts over 700 square feet of event space and is strategically located near major employers such as Dell and Hospira, making it an ideal choice for business travelers. Families can enjoy the outdoor pool, basketball SportCourt, and BBQ patio, ensuring that guests of all ages have memorable and enjoyable experiences during their stay.

The Front Desk Agent position at Residence Inn Austin Round Rock is pivotal to delivering outstanding guest experiences and maintaining the smooth operation of the hotel lobby. This role focuses on providing a warm and inviting welcome to all guests, managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and ensuring that every interaction is positive, friendly, and professional. As the first point of contact for visitors, front desk agents act as ambassadors for the hotel brand, setting the tone for guests’ entire visits with their professionalism and hospitality. The role requires multitasking skills, as agents handle room reservations, guest requests, billing, and coordination with housekeeping and maintenance staff to resolve any issues promptly. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities are crucial, as agents must be able to address and swiftly resolve any challenges that arise, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty. The position demands availability for shifts that include mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays, making flexibility a key component.

The hotel prioritizes employee well-being and growth, offering a competitive benefits package after an initial waiting period. Benefits include daily pay options, medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability income plans, term life and AD&D insurance, paid time off, an employee assistance program, and a 401k retirement plan. This supportive work environment, combined with the chance to engage with diverse guests and a dynamic team, makes the Front Desk Agent role a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about hospitality and guest service.
