Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in reservations or related hospitality role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Sales skills experience
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple communication channels
  • Familiarity with Hyatt systems or similar reservation software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to delivering excellent guest service

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient in servicing guest requests through Hyatt systems
  • Knowledge of Opera, Reserve, Revinate preferred
  • Sales skills mandatory
  • Strong telecommunication skills preferred
  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages, even if using translation services
  • Ability to manage phone calls and reservations tasks concurrently

Job Duties

  • Respond promptly and professionally to reservation inquiries via phone, email, and internal systems
  • Manage guest emails and shared reservation email inbox
  • Accurately identify guest needs and communicate special requests to appropriate departments
  • Promote packages, offers, and upsell opportunities to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue
  • Manage group blocks, rooming lists, and individual reservations associated with groups
  • Monitor online travel agency reservations and ensure accurate processing
  • Manage extranet maintenance and guest messaging
  • Review daily arrivals to ensure guest preferences are honored
  • Review and process travel agent commissions
  • Oversee daily administrative tasks including daily reports and reservation audits
  • Ensure smooth coordination between Reservations, Sales, Front Office, and other departments
  • Take on additional projects and tasks as needed to assist with VIP, Front Office, Revenue Management, Sales and Events
