Among the key responsibilities, the Reservations Coordinator manages the state's space reservation calendar, processes invoices for event spaces such as the 22nd floor, and oversees refunds in accordance with official policies. Beyond routine duties, the role contributes to the continuous improvement of Property Services operations through development, implementation, and documentation of policies, procedures, and best practices. The incumbent also supports records management efforts, ensuring that records retention schedules are adhered to and that storage or disposal of records aligns with state policies.
Highly distinguished customer service capabilities are essential for this role, alongside the ability to analyze and address operational or management issues effectively. Communication skills must be expertly honed to establish and maintain professional relationships across various departments and external stakeholders. Flexibility is required during legislative sessions, with potential adjustments to work schedules to meet organizational needs. The position includes the assignment of a state-issued cell phone strictly for business use.
