Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Two years related professional experience
- Experience in conference sales, event planning, public relations, or general services can substitute one year per year for education
- Ability to walk, stand, and perform sedentary work for prolonged periods
- Ability to drive or fly long distances
- Adherence to workplace safety policies
- Successful completion of background screening
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Two years of related professional experience
- Experience in conference sales, event planning, public relations, or general services as a substitute for education
- Knowledge of reservation process principles
- Ability to develop reports and communicate effectively
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to apply policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Serve as primary point of contact for reservations process
- Review reservation requests for compliance with statutes and rules
- Coordinate with Office of General Counsel, Capitol Police, and Senior Management to implement guidelines
- Reserve state grounds and update calendar of events
- Coordinate events with Facilities Manager and assist building staff
- Prepare invoices and coordinate refunds with Finance and Accounting
- Assist with process improvements, documentation, and records management
