Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public administration, recreation management, hospitality, or related field
- five years of professional experience in rental or event management
- two years of experience in a supervisory role or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- valid Michigan Driver's License
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within one year from date of hire
- ServSafe Food Manager and Alcohol Certification or ability to obtain within one year from date of hire
- Michigan TIPS Certification or ability to obtain within six months from date of hire
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Oversee facility rentals and event coordination for the Parks and Recreation Department
- manage reservations and scheduling
- supervise rental staff and coordinate their activities
- ensure facility upkeep and maintenance
- enforce safety protocols during events and daily operations
- partner with community organizations to develop and implement marketing initiatives that promote rental opportunities
- allocate resources efficiently to meet event and facility needs
