- Six months to one year related experience or training preferred
- Ability to obtain Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Specialist certification within six months of hire
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be bondable

Job Duties
- Maintain knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program
- Manage mail out and receipt of recertification packets for program participants
- Receive and review client information including completeness of recertification packets and verifications
- Advise clients on certification documentation process via telephone, correspondence, and in person
- Maintain secure access to program software and follow security protocols
- Check-in, sort, distribute, and scan mail and faxes to client files
- Receive and direct visitors and clients
- Handle requests for information and data
- Process correspondence from Rental Assistance area by sorting, scanning, or distributing
- Provide relief for the Receptionist
- Create and maintain written procedures for work processes
- Review and maintain document image files
- Provide information for reports related to duties
- Answer phones, retrieve messages, and respond to communications promptly
- Maintain interview rooms and supplies
