Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with occupational health and safety programs
- Ability to conduct safety investigations
- Strong knowledge of safety laws and regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel 60 percent
- Ability to work independently and with teams

Job Duties
- Analyze status reports to determine trends and develop action plans to reduce financial impact
- Focus on units experiencing increased injury trends and provide solutions for improvement
- Utilize financial and worker injury reports to determine areas of focus
- Respond to customer concerns regarding health and safety
- Facilitate contractor orientation classes
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant standards through facility inspections and provide management with recommendations
- Support ongoing safety awareness programs and incentive initiatives to promote safe work environments
- Assist Compass Risk Management Department with loss prevention and control programs
- Provide bi-lingual safety training and presentations to employees
- Conduct safety audits and job safety analysis reviews
