Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret technical materials such as diagrams and manuals
- Clear and effective communication skills
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret technical materials such as diagrams and manuals
- Clear and effective communication skills
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams is desirable
- Certification or experience in ATC simulation labs is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of FAAO JO 7110.65 is a plus
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with pilot-controller communications or phraseology is advantageous
Job Duties
- Operate simulated radar and voice communication systems during training exercises
- Respond to trainee commands using proper aviation phraseology
- Input pilot actions into automated training systems
- Translate displayed information into appropriate air traffic control terminology
- Complete required classroom and lab certifications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary training teams
- Support FAA air traffic controller training programs
