Job Requirements

- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
- Ability to speak clearly and be understood
- US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance

- Clear verbal communication skills
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with FAAO JO 7110.65 desirable
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Basic knowledge of pilot/controller communications and phraseology
- Effective team building skills
Job Duties
- Operate simulated radar display and voice communication systems to mimic pilot and other controller actions
- Respond to voice commands from student air traffic controllers
- Input accurate data into automated systems to simulate pilot movements
- Translate displayed information into ATC terminology and communicate using correct phraseology
- Complete required classroom and laboratory certifications related to airspace and simulator operations
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including multimedia developers, QA specialists, and instructors
- Support air traffic controller training exercises to enhance learner proficiency
