Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
Ability to speak clearly and be understood
US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
Clear verbal communication skills
US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
Effective oral and written communication skills
Familiarity with FAAO JO 7110.65 desirable
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Basic knowledge of pilot/controller communications and phraseology
Effective team building skills

Job Duties

Operate simulated radar display and voice communication systems to mimic pilot and other controller actions
Respond to voice commands from student air traffic controllers
Input accurate data into automated systems to simulate pilot movements
Translate displayed information into ATC terminology and communicate using correct phraseology
Complete required classroom and laboratory certifications related to airspace and simulator operations
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including multimedia developers, QA specialists, and instructors
Support air traffic controller training exercises to enhance learner proficiency
