Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
Ability to speak clearly and be understood
U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
No prior experience required but certification desired
Availability for full-time daytime shift
Ability to work onsite at Chicago locations
Effective teamwork and communication skills

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
Clear verbal communication skills
U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
Effective oral and written communication skills
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
Familiarity or certification in ATC simulation strongly desired
Knowledge of FAAO JO 7110.65 preferred
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Basic understanding of pilot/controller communication or phraseology

Job Duties

Operate as the pilot and other controller roles during air traffic control simulation exercises
Utilize a simulated radar display and voice communication system to mimic pilot actions
Input commands based on student voice instructions into the automated training system
Respond to students using correct air traffic control phraseology through voice communication
Complete required certifications including classroom and lab testing on airspace and procedures
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including developers, quality assurance, and instructors
Support simulator training at both ORD and MDW tower locations as needed
