Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
Clear verbal communication skills
US citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance

Job Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
Clear and understandable verbal communication skills
US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
Effective oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Familiarity with FAA JO 7110.65 desired
Experience or certification in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation labs preferred
Basic knowledge of pilot-controller communications or phraseology desired

Job Duties

Operate simulated radar display and voice communication systems during training exercises
Respond promptly to voice commands from student air traffic controllers
Input accurate entries that simulate pilot actions into the automated system
Translate displayed information into appropriate air traffic control terminology
Utilize proper FAA phraseology during communications
Complete required certifications and maintain proficiency
Work scheduled shifts including evenings and days
