This opportunity is perfect for a motivated professional passionate about hospitality sales and eager to contribute to the success of a respected hotel brand. Responsible for fostering and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, third-party partners, and local community organizations, the role demands a strategic approach to business development and client satisfaction.
The Remote Hotel Sales Manager position offers a comprehensive involvement in the sales process, from prospecting and closing new business deals to managing complex requests for proposals (RFPs) and ensuring smooth contract execution. By aligning client expectations with hotel operations and delivering tailored solutions, the manager not only supports the client’s needs but also contributes to the hotel’s overall performance. This role offers an invaluable glimpse into the full hotel ecosystem, including sales strategies, client relationship management, and operational coordination, making it an excellent launching point for a rewarding, upward career trajectory within hospitality sales.
This position is based in California and emphasizes remote work flexibility, enabling professionals to effectively manage their sales territories while engaging with prospects and existing clients through diverse communication channels. The role’s compensation includes a base salary supplemented by quarterly performance-based bonuses, offering strong earnings potential aligned with individual and team success. In addition to competitive pay, the organization values work-life balance and employee growth, providing full medical benefits, 401K plans with company match, and exclusive hotel discounts.
In this position, you will be expected to cultivate new business through proactive outreach and relationship-building activities, establish and nurture community and corporate relationships, and consistently meet ambitious sales goals, including an annual target of one million dollars in revenue. Strong emotional intelligence will enable you to develop deep client connections to foster satisfaction and loyalty. The ideal candidate brings prior experience in hotel sales, preferably within a full-service setting, and prefers familiarity with the Marin County area or the ability to quickly become knowledgeable about this vibrant market. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with multiple hotel departments to craft tailored proposals ensuring each client receives personalized and exceptional service. Experience working with the PEP reservations system is considered an advantage and adds value to the candidate’s profile.
Overall, this role is well-suited for a highly energetic, polished communicator with a sales-driven mindset ready to leverage their skills to take ownership of a remote hotel sales territory and drive substantial business growth. If you have a passion for hospitality, a positive attitude, and the motivation to succeed in a thriving remote work environment, this position offers tremendous growth opportunities and the potential for a fulfilling career in hospitality sales.
