Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or hospitality is an asset but willingness to train is provided
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age or older
- eagerness to learn and grow in the food service industry
- knowledge of food preparation or dishwashing preferred but not required
- ability to develop positive relationships with residents, peers, and community
- strong work ethic and commitment to core values
Job Duties
- assist in meal preparation tasks such as food prep, stocking salad bar, filling refreshment carafes, and setting tables
- reset dining room and kitchen after meals by washing dishes, removing trash, and busing tables
- work alongside culinary and dining team in a dynamic kitchen environment
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas
- adhere to core values of respect, kindness, compassion, honesty, and service excellence
- collaborate with team members to ensure smooth meal service operations
- assist in maintaining inventory of kitchen supplies
