Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a leading provider in the senior living industry, renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional care and hospitality in over 60 resort-style communities nationwide. As a fast-growing, family-owned company, RLC prioritizes creating supportive and nurturing environments for their residents, fostering a sense of belonging and happiness. Their core values—Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence—are the foundation of everything they do, influencing both employee engagement and resident satisfaction. The company is driven by four essential goals: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations, ensuring a balanced and thriving community for all stakeholders.
The role of Relief Kitchen Helper at Resort Lifestyle Communities is vital to maintaining an excellent dining experience for senior residents. This position entails preparing, stocking, and maintaining a fresh and appealing salad bar to ensure every meal begins on a positive note. Working closely with both kitchen staff and residents, the Relief Kitchen Helper provides friendly, attentive service in the dining room while diligently keeping tables clean and organized. Additionally, this role is responsible for maintaining strict sanitation practices by washing, sanitizing, and storing tableware, cookware, and kitchen equipment, contributing to a safe and hygienic dining environment.
This role does not require previous culinary experience, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking meaningful work in the senior care sector without a formal kitchen background. Employees must be at least 18 years old and capable of reading, speaking, and understanding basic English. The position involves working specific shifts—Friday and Saturday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and Sunday and Monday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm—necessitating flexibility and reliability. New hires must be able to obtain food handler permits as required by local regulations within the first two weeks of employment.
Working at RLC means joining a servant-hearted community that values respect and kindness, empowering employees to make a tangible difference in the lives of older adults every day. With competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance; short- and long-term disability coverage; paid time off; and a 401(k) plan with employer match, RLC ensures its team members are well-supported professionally and personally. Employees also enjoy a benefit stipend to tailor their benefits package, access to their pay anytime, and a positive, purpose-driven workplace culture.
This full-time opportunity promises a rewarding career where helping seniors is more than a job—it’s a calling. The Relief Kitchen Helper at RLC will play an essential role in a collaborative, fast-paced environment grounded in purpose and service excellence. This position offers not only structured duties but also a chance to be part of a family-oriented company that encourages servant leadership and meaningful connections. If you are motivated to contribute with heart and dedication, RLC invites you to apply today and be part of their growing, supportive team focused on enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
