Knowledge of basic food preparation practices, common table setting, and ability to learn large-scale kitchen work methods and procedures

Job Duties

Adheres to all food handling procedures according to regulatory standards
Assembles nourishments accurately per diet order
Assembles patient trays in a timely and accurate manner
Assists in the orderly cleanup activities of the tray line and kitchen
Checks trays for missing or special write-in items
Communicates effectively to achieve desired outcomes and maintains positive working relationships
Conforms to policies regarding dress code, use of paid time off, time sheets, and philosophy
