We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse Shift Manager for the nursing department. This full-time position is a critical leadership role that reports directly to the Nursing Department Director. The RN Shift Manager plays an essential role in coordinating nursing services and overseeing the work of nursing staff during their assigned shift. Utilizing expert nursing knowledge and strong organizational and leadership skills, the Shift Manager ensures that all patients receive care appropriate to their age and developmental levels. A key part of this role involves continuously assessing staffing needs in collaboration with the staffing coordinator, Nurse Director, and Administrative Nursing Supervisor to meet patient care demands efficiently. Beyond overseeing patient care, this position supports a variety of administrative tasks under the guidance of the Nursing Department Director. Candidates for this role should bring at least two to five years of acute care nursing experience or an equivalent background, coupled with managerial experience which is preferred. A current California RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and specialized oncology certifications such as ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy are required, with OCN certification considered a plus.
