Good Samaritan Medical Center (GSMC) is a well-established acute care hospital located in Palm Beach County, Florida. With over 100 years of experience serving the community, GSMC is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and is renowned for providing sophisticated, personalized, and emergency medical care. The facility is a 333-bed hospital equipped with advanced medical technologies, including state-of-the-art robotic surgical systems such as the MAKO and Da Vinci robots. Beyond its general surgery capabilities, GSMC also boasts a highly accredited cancer center that features a cutting-edge Breast Center, earning recognition by the Commission on Cancer. The hospital has built a reputation for delivering compassionate care through a blend of innovation and a strong commitment to patient outcomes.

As a Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse at Good Samaritan Medical Center, you will be an integral member of the healthcare team, responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients. Working under the guidance and supervision of the Director or designated supervisors, you will provide direct and indirect patient care with a high degree of professionalism and compassion. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while benefiting from a supportive work environment that encourages professional development and work-life balance. The hospital offers an attractive sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months, reflecting its dedication to attracting and retaining skilled nursing professionals.

Your responsibilities will include comprehensive assessment of patients' physical, psychosocial, educational, and developmental needs. You will develop tailored written care plans based on your assessments and deliver patient and family education and guidance to promote health and recovery. Implementation of nursing care plans, thorough documentation of patient activities and needs, and evaluation of patient responses to interventions and teachings are key components of this role. Additionally, you will demonstrate leadership skills, serving as a role model and resource to peers and other healthcare staff to ensure high standards of care.

Working at GSMC means joining a dynamic healthcare environment where compassionate care meets innovation. Nurses at the hospital are encouraged to grow professionally and enjoy generous benefits that support their health, financial security, and ongoing education.
