Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Active Registered Nurse license in state of employment or compact
- Ability to work full time with a schedule of five days, eight hours per day
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
Job Qualifications

- BLS certification required
- Registered Nurse license in state of employment or compact
- Ability to provide complex nursing care independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies as leader of self, leader of others, or leader of leaders
- Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients
- Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural and social needs of patients and families
- Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitors for side-effects and effectiveness
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medication and care given
- Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members or caregivers
- Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers to manage clinical situation
