Job Description
Syntech Systems - FUELMASTER is a leading U.S. manufacturer specializing in electronic fuel management equipment. Known for innovation and quality, Syntech System's FUELMASTER brand has established itself as a key player in the petroleum equipment industry, serving diverse markets including fuel jobbers, distributors, and end users across the country. The company is committed to delivering superior products backed by strong customer service and technical support, driving efficiency and accuracy in fuel management solutions. With a longstanding reputation for excellence, Syntech Systems continues to grow rapidly and expand its footprint across multiple states.
This job opening is for a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join the Syntech Systems team. This individual contributor role focuses on driving sales growth and customer engagement across a wide and rapidly expanding territory that includes North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, and Oklahoma. The successful candidate will play a vital role in establishing and nurturing customer relationships, supporting distributors, and increasing market penetration through direct selling and strategic account management.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for new business development by proactively identifying and engaging prospective clients, building a robust sales pipeline, and collaborating with both corporate and distributor teams to convert opportunities into closed sales. Representing Syntech as the regional face of the company, this role demands a confident individual who can not only advocate for the FUELMASTER product portfolio but also adeptly navigate the complexities of the petroleum equipment market. The position requires in-depth product knowledge and the ability to communicate technical features in a clear, compelling manner that translates into business benefits for clients.
Travel is an essential element of this role, with an expectation of up to 50 percent travel across the assigned territories, including overnight stays to meet key business objectives. The company provides a vehicle to facilitate travel and expects applicants to have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record. Based preferably in Colorado or nearby Western states, the representative will manage distributor partnerships to enhance sales reach and contribute to market strategy by monitoring competitor activity and gathering valuable market insights.
Beyond sales, the role involves representing Syntech at industry trade shows and networking events, following up on leads, and acting as a proactive liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and high client satisfaction. Reporting regularly on performance metrics, lead generation, and market intelligence is critical for aligning sales efforts with company goals. The successful candidate must consistently uphold the company’s values and demonstrate professional integrity in all interactions.
This position offers a competitive salary range from $91,057.27 to $167,617.36 annually, reflecting the level of expertise and results expected. Syntech Systems fosters a supportive work environment that values professional development and offers extensive benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and various reimbursement programs. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains a drug and alcohol-free workplace, creating a safe and inclusive environment for all employees.
