Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Safety Management or similar field
- at least 6 years professional field experience in safety
- past successful experience in the construction industry is preferred
- ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- travel at least 50-75 percent of the time including outside of assigned region
- live within 45-minute commute to an airport offering domestic flights

Job Duties
- Implement, monitor, and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and programs across all locations in the region
- conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments at branch locations and job sites
- ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations
- compile data within assigned locations to identify unhealthy trends that can be mitigated by early intervention
- lead investigations of workplace accidents, near-misses, property damage, and vehicle incidents
- identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- maintain accurate documentation of incidents, training records, and safety inspections
- partner with operations to integrate safety into daily work activities and business decisions
- support regional leadership with safety communications, safety stand-downs, and weekly safety meetings
- apply working knowledge and understanding of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry Standards) to evaluate workplace conditions, equipment use, and employee practices
- promote a strong safety culture by engaging employees at all levels and reinforcing safe work practices
