Job Requirements
- Experience installing, repairing, and maintaining kitchen equipment including CVAP, combi ovens, fryers, hoods, dish machines, and Ansul systems
- Hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical building systems maintenance
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and building codes
- Ability to read design and architectural plans
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, good driving record, and insurance
- Ability to communicate effectively via email, phone, and in-person
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Adaptable to fast-paced work environments and shifting priorities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Must display integrity, honesty, and be dependable
- Ability to work in shared office spaces and withstand exposure to office and kitchen environments

Job Qualifications
- Combination of education, experience, and training providing required skills and knowledge
- Restaurant Facilities Management Association Certification
- Experience in HVAC repair, restaurant kitchen equipment maintenance, vendor relations, and project management
- Previous restaurant facilities management experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and design plans
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Professional demeanor and high work ethic
Job Duties
- Ensure maintenance and operation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, upgrades, and installations
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules within budget
- Conduct monthly hood cleaning reviews for code compliance
- Manage cleanliness, safety, and functionality of restaurant facilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations, and building codes
- Provide project management for remodels, upgrades, repairs, and emergency repairs
- Maintain facilities management system and manage warranty repairs
- Submit and code all facilities-related invoices on time
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving measures
- Collaborate with management for facility improvement strategies
- Conduct weekly walkthroughs and monthly meetings to address facility opportunities
