Job Description

Genesis Health Clubs is the largest privately owned health club company in the United States, boasting 83 locations across 13 states. The company has established itself as the fastest-growing non-franchised health club organization in the country, reflecting its commitment to expansion, innovation, and providing exceptional service to its members. Genesis is more than just a gym; it is a movement grounded in core values that emphasize member care, team development, and community engagement. The organization operates a diverse portfolio of brands, including trampoline parks, water parks, ice skating rinks, meal prep services, and baseball tournament venues, showcasing its commitment to promoting active and healthy lifestyles in various forms.

Founded on the principle of MMFI (Make Me Feel Important), Genesis Health Clubs focuses on fostering meaningful relationships, inspiring members, and delivering thoughtful service. The company invests heavily in its members, clubs, and teams to ensure every location upholds high standards of excellence, from state-of-the-art equipment to dynamic and energetic staff. A culture that values leadership by example encourages team members to show compassion, drive, and dedication daily. Moreover, Genesis champions the importance of exercising daily not only for fitness but also as a resilient lifestyle choice that supports long-term wellness.

This leadership role centers on overseeing the operations and performance of multiple restaurant locations within the Kansas region. As a District Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operational performance and financial growth of each restaurant location, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales. This critical position requires a hands-on approach in mentoring and leading team members, recruiting and training management staff, and consistently monitoring quality and compliance standards.

The role demands a strategic mindset to oversee financial performance, analyzing profit and loss statements, sales forecasts, labor, and food expenses to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions. You will establish and maintain processes for operational efficiency, including scheduling, inventory control, and safety standards compliance. In addition, this role involves direct oversight of maintenance, repair, and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment for both staff and guests.

The District Manager will be expected to present a professional demeanor at all times, representing the brand with integrity and enthusiasm. This position is suited for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and can effectively develop strategies to support brand goals and objectives. Building a collaborative and motivated team atmosphere is paramount, alongside the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently.

Genesis Health Clubs offers an outstanding work environment with a strong emphasis on career advancement and personal development. As part of the team, you will enjoy above-industry pay and robust rewards for high-performing employees. The company’s benefits package includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with 401(k) plans and matching contributions. Paid time off and generous employee discounts further complement the compensation.

Working at Genesis means joining a passionate, supportive culture where staff are treated like family. Whether you are involved in fitness training, customer service, management, or supporting extended brand initiatives, you will contribute to a purpose-driven team dedicated to transforming lives through health and wellness. This position provides an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact while growing professionally within a rapidly expanding, well-respected company.
