The Regional Operations Manager role at HMP Properties is an integral leadership position dedicated to driving day-to-day operational excellence across a portfolio of assigned properties. Often described as the "General Manager of General Managers," this position requires a seasoned professional capable of providing strategic leadership, clear direction, and accountability to multiple property leadership teams. HMP’s intentional smaller regional structures allow Regional Operations Managers to maintain a hands-on approach, delivering consistent, daily support and oversight that fosters operational success and team excellence.
This role is primarily field-based, with approximately 75% of the time spent directly supporting hotel teams on-site and 25% at the corporate office, ensuring a dynamic balance between on-the-ground leadership and strategic planning. The Regional Operations Manager works closely with hotel leadership to achieve key financial and performance objectives, uphold compliance with company policies and brand standards, and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction across all properties. The responsibilities encompass managing labor efficiently, supporting and mentoring team members, implementing operational strategies, and ensuring consistent standards and accountability throughout the portfolio.
