Known for its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Aramark fosters a supportive work environment where employees feel empowered and respected, regardless of their background or personal characteristics. The company actively prohibits discrimination based on any factors protected by law, ensuring a fair and inclusive workplace for all its team members. Aramark serves a wide range of industries including education, healthcare, business, and sports and entertainment venues, making it a dynamic and multifaceted organization that values innovation and excellence in service delivery.
The Regional Food Service Manager position is a pivotal managerial role focused on creating and executing dining solutions that meet and exceed patron preferences and expectations. This role oversees the operation of dining areas where patrons place orders for prepared cuisine, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food service experiences. The manager will lead a diverse team by employing Aramark's coaching model to engage, develop, and maximize the potential of each team member. Responsibilities include rewarding and recognizing outstanding performance, planning and leading daily team briefings, and ensuring that safety and sanitation standards are rigorously maintained in all food service operations.
In addition to team leadership, a key component of the role is maintaining strong client relationships by identifying their needs and communicating operational progress effectively. The manager is also responsible for financial performance, including the preparation and maintenance of profit and loss statements and meeting both client and company financial targets. Adherence to Operational Excellence fundamentals is essential, with a focus on meeting labor and food cost initiatives. The manager will supervise the team to ensure production quality and control standards are upheld.
Compliance is critical in this role, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees. This position demands a proactive approach to managing day-to-day operations while aligning with Aramark's standards and policies.
This is a highly engaging role that calls for strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster strong client and customer connections to support mutual business growth. Ideal candidates are those who demonstrate excellence in customer service, are capable of working collaboratively across departments, and can manage physical demands such as occasional handling or moving of objects weighing up to 50 pounds and tolerating prolonged standing.
Aramark also provides career development opportunities including internships, flexible work options for certain roles, and comprehensive training programs that promote leadership, skill development, and career advancement. The company’s commitment to employee growth means that new managers will receive ongoing support and resources to thrive in their position and contribute meaningfully to the company’s success.
