Aramark is a global leader in food services, facilities management, and uniform services, dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for customers and clients. With a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Aramark fosters a supportive and respectful work environment where every employee is empowered and valued. The company operates across various sectors including healthcare, education, business, sports, and leisure, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to meet the unique needs of each client. Aramark’s philosophy centers on promoting a culture of integrity, respect, and collaboration, ensuring that all team members have the opportunity to thrive and contribute to the company’s success.
The role of the Regional Food Service Manager at Aramark is integral to the successful execution of dining solutions that meet and exceed patron expectations. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing and managing the dining areas where patrons place menu-based orders for prepared cuisine. The manager plays a critical role in directing team efforts to deliver high-quality food service experiences while maintaining strict adherence to safety, sanitation, and operational standards. Key responsibilities include using Aramark’s coaching model to engage and develop team members, rewarding and recognizing employees, and ensuring that both individual and team performances align with company objectives and client expectations.
In this role, the manager leads daily team briefings to enhance communication and coordination, ensures compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and maintains strong client relationships by identifying client needs and communicating operational progress. Financially, the manager is accountable for the completion and upkeep of profit and loss statements and achieving client and company financial targets. Adherence to Operational Excellence fundamentals is essential, particularly in meeting food and labor cost initiatives, while ensuring the entire team is trained and competent in implementing operational standards. The position demands supervisory oversight of team production, quality control, and compliance to create a safe, healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees.
The Regional Food Service Manager role requires a proactive leader with a minimum of one year of supervisory experience, preferably supported by a bachelor’s degree or relevant practical experience. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate and sustain positive client and customer relationships to facilitate mutually beneficial business outcomes. Exceptional customer service skills aligned with Aramark’s approved service methodology are essential, along with the capability to work collaboratively across departments to deliver a seamless food service experience. Physical demands include the ability to occasionally handle, move, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds and tolerate prolonged standing.
Aramark also offers various employee development programs, including internships, student opportunities, flexible and remote work options for qualifying roles, and extensive training programs aimed at leadership development, skills enhancement, and career advancement. This commitment ensures that employees are continuously supported in their professional growth and career trajectories, making Aramark not only an employer but a partner in long-term success and satisfaction.
