Job Requirements

  • must have a valid Class A CDL
  • must be 21 years of age or older
  • must have a safe driving record
  • no more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
  • minimum 4 months of driving experience required
  • background check required
  • clean drug test required
  • clean clearinghouse result required
  • must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
  • preferred 1 year truck driving experience
  • must comply with company pet and guest rider policies

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of flatbed load securement

Job Duties

  • operate flatbed trucks safely and efficiently
  • transport various building materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, machinery, coils, and specialty metals
  • secure loads using tarps and proper equipment
  • comply with all federal, state, and company regulations
  • maintain accurate logs and shipping documentation
  • perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
  • use company driver portal app for communication and updates
