The role of Regional Private Client Director at Moet Hennessy USA is a pivotal leadership position based in California, focused on overseeing and executing the Private Client strategy for a designated region. This role demands a strategic and dynamic leader who acts as both a brand ambassador and a key driver of sustainable business growth within the high net worth and ultra-high net worth individual markets. The Regional Private Client Director will oversee the Moet Hennessy Private portfolio, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, personalized luxury experiences. Responsibilities include shaping business development strategies in close alignment with the Business Development Director, cultivating and maintaining relationships with private clients, and optimizing sales performance to meet revenue targets. This role also requires collaboration with domestic teams and regional marketing partners to amplify brand positioning and client engagement through thoughtfully curated events and strategic communications. The incumbent will lead a team of Private Client Directors and Managers, fostering talent development and a culture of continuous improvement. Exceptional leadership, communication, and networking skills are essential, alongside a proven record of managing client relationships within luxury industries. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years of client development, sales and marketing experience preferably in luxury consumer goods or U.S. wines and spirits industries
  • own network of UHNWI contacts
  • great social and networking skills rooted in local community
  • strong leadership and people development capabilities
  • deep understanding of UHNWI client expectations and luxury service standards
  • proven track record in Private Client, luxury, spirits/wines, or high-end lifestyle industries
  • strong commercial acumen with P&L ownership experience

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute business development strategies tailored to the UHNWI and HNW market
  • identify and recruit new Private Clients through personal networks, referrals, and strategic partnerships
  • understand and deploy Regional Private Client strategies in collaboration with domestic teams
  • communicate the MH Private unique value proposition, service standards, and portfolio
  • manage regional Private Client sales budgets and revenue objectives
  • supervise and optimize sales activities ensuring effective execution and forecasting accuracy
  • monitor key performance indicators, evaluate commercial performance, and drive corrective actions
  • act as MH Private Ambassador internally and externally
  • partner with marketing teams to position MH Private as a leader in luxury wines and spirits
  • co-create and oversee regional Private Client and Prestige event calendars
  • manage Private Client marketing and engagement budgets
  • develop and manage key UHNWI relationships
  • ensure delivery of personalized client experiences
  • optimize CRM tools for data accuracy and actionable insights
  • contribute to developing regional CRM programs and client engagement content
  • lead and inspire Private Client Directors and Managers
  • set clear objectives and performance expectations
  • coach and mentor team members
  • build and implement learning and development plans
  • foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
  • build a strong talent pipeline for the Private Client organization.
