Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in culinary or cooking roles
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to acquire food safety certification
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to handle physical labor including lifting, bending, and extended walking
  • dependable and team-oriented

  • understanding of various cooking methods and food safety regulations

Job Duties

  • adapt duties and responsibilities to meet client requirements and operational needs
  • follow production instructions and standardized recipes to prepare dishes
  • prepare workstation with all necessary tools and ingredients
  • measure, weigh, blend, cut, trim, and peel food items
  • safely use utensils and knives
  • operate appliances including ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • employ various cooking methods like baking, roasting, and steaming
  • structure, enhance, and portion cuisine according to regulations
  • maintain food quality and safety through proper storage
  • keep work areas, utensils, and devices sanitary and germ-free
  • deliver excellent customer service and maintain a friendly demeanor
  • comply with safety and food sanitation protocols
  • uphold safety measures for organizational resources
